Biography

Peter Howard was born in San Antonio, TX on March 28th, 1996. Interested in music from a young age, Peter's journey into composition and songwriting began on his grandmother's  piano.

After attending Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, Peter acquired both a bachelor's degree in songwriting and a master's degree in audio engineering from Nashville's Belmont University. He worked in professional audio post-graduation, serving Middle Tennessee's live music community and assisting a variety of clients, from large venues to record labels.

In addition to writing and performing for his own music, Peter has written and performed for both advertising treatments and films, most recently having his vocals featured in Filmstreet Productions' Love Unleashed and DNA Secrets. He has developed a unique compositional footprint in his scores, evident in his music in everything from Terry Spears' crime feature, Broken City to Winston Schroeder's potty horror odyssey, Terror in the Toilet.

 

Peter sings, plays piano, guitar, bass guitar and harmonica. He frequently reads in his spare time, and he enjoys going to live shows across Los Angeles, where he now resides.
